Hi Jeff,
I find myself a little bemused by statistics.

According to the US Census Bureau and Internet World Statistics the population of the US is a shade under 300 million.

According to Internet World Statistics there is a shade over 205 million people online in the US.

According to the US Census Bureau, in the year 2000 the population of the US aged 18 to 75 was around 174 million.

Based on these figures it would appear that almost every single man and woman aged 18 to 75, in the whole of the US, is connected to the internet and spends time on it.

Somehow, I find that a stretch of the imagination and the basis of a recipe for defeat. If one is to promote their business successfully one must have reliable data to work with. There's no point in aiming for the stars if the stars are out of reach.

If one is to set themselves a target surely it has to be better to work with accurate demographics so they know which star to shoot for?
Regards,
Elisabeth.

Hi:

Yes, one can easily become sick of the product they are marketing if they are not getting enough traffic or if they are getting a lot of non-converting traffic.

The wise thing to do is to research and learn how to get more traffic or how to improve the conversion rate of your website. Then your sales will improve dramatically.
